Remember how it felt when you went to the mail box and found a greeting card or a little handwritten note from a friend or family member. It was so wonderful! You felt special. You knew somebody had gone out of their way to tell you they cared. Somehow it felt better than the automated and instant response of a greeting on social media.
As much as it is great to receive hundreds of wishes electronically, that personal touch and piece of paper feels different. And then there are times when a paper card just isn't possible. When that happens, a personalized electronic card is the next best thing. A sample of one of my cards is shown below.

What fun it has been! Many years ago I did a carpentry course in which I learned how to use a few different saws and how to build simple structures and the like. Now, if you ever get a chance to take such a course - GO FOR IT! The things you'll learn will be amazing and the skills are something that will be useful your whole life.
Over the past few years, I've also been dabbling with woodworking - one more thing in a list of hobbies that I've learned to totally enjoy. Here's a photo of some of the things I've created so far.
