Remember how it felt when you went to the mail box and found a greeting card or a little handwritten note from a friend or family member. It was so wonderful! You felt special. You knew somebody had gone out of their way to tell you they cared. Somehow it felt better than the automated and instant response of a greeting on social media.
As much as it is great to receive hundreds of wishes electronically, that personal touch and piece of paper feels different. I love sketching and designing cards for the special people in my life. While there are cards for every occasion, the ones I love most are those that are 'just because I thought of you this morning'.
And then there are times when a paper card just isn't possible. When that happens, a personalized electronic card is the next best thing. It was just so during covid-19, especially during the worst of the isolation when it was difficult to get to a post office. Many were leery of touching anything that came from outside the home. It was then I started creating digital cards and sending them to family and friends on their birthdays or other special occasions.
